Diary 2026
Diary2026

Hello 2026! What do
you bring for me?

Januari
is almost 2 weeks old. We had snow, slippery roads and it was very
cold. And here I am with my thoughts in England and Schotland, wanting
to see more, planning trips and yet I see only a small part that I want
to see.
Wish I could
live there. Or had travelling work there. Dreams of an old woman.

March 23
Spring in
the Netherlands. I love it.
Lines
Written in Early Spring
By
William Wordsworth
I
heard a thousand blended notes,
While in a grove I sate reclined,
In that sweet mood when pleasant thoughts
Bring sad thoughts to the mind.
To
her fair works did Nature link
The human soul that through me ran;
And much it grieved my heart to think
What man has made of man.
Through
primrose tufts, in that green bower,
The periwinkle trailed its wreaths;
And ’tis my faith that every flower
Enjoys the air it breathes.
The
birds around me hopped and played,
Their thoughts I cannot measure:—
But the least motion which they made
It seemed a thrill of pleasure.
The
budding twigs spread out their fan,
To catch the breezy air;
And I must think, do all I can,
That there was pleasure there.
If
this belief from heaven be sent,
If such be Nature’s holy plan,
Have I not reason to lament
What man has made of man?

A bridge in Germany. I was visiting some
old trees. (see www.bomentijd.nl)
Love their houses too

Travelling
around in Britain. Time really flies and I try to get my list done but
I see so much and walking miles a day. It is tirering but I feel at
home here. And yet I see too little. This country is really big and
much to explore.
And now I am at home and I want to go back. But yesterday when I
arrived at home I sit on the couch with some of my cats and feel this
is happiness too.
What I saw: (a small part of it)
