Anniversary
On this day two souls became one
We shared love and laughter throughout the years
There were also along the way a few tears.
We talked about our goals and dreams.
The two of us worked as a team.
Many times we held each other tight
When things didn't seem to go right
Adversities, there were a few.
Now we don't move as quickly as we use to
And there may be a few hairs of grey.
Yet, we still cherish our vows the same today.
We know we are with who we belong
And know our love will only grow stronger.
We look forwarder to the sharing of each new day
and with anticipation for the coming of each new year.
